I Choose Violence, tells the story of Hanna, a Colombian anthropologist who is conducting research with her husband Phillip, about the death ideology of some tribes in Latin America. However, tragedy strikes when their young daughter dies, causing them to separate and ending their research. In the midst of grief, Phillip disappears into the jungle cutting off all communication while studying one last tribe. Hanna is forced to travel deep into the Colombian jungle to discover that Phillip was studying a tribe of women displaced by violence, who used witchcraft for a single purpose: to bring back to life their dead victims of war.
